With 65,000 people expected to turn out, one of Raleigh’s most popular events is the televised Christmas Parade. This tradition has been hosted by the Greater Raleigh Merchants Association since 1940. Shop Local Raleigh is an extension of the GRMA and is a partner in presenting the parade. ABC News 11 is sponsoring the parade and the event is televised.
